Ever heard silence ? sounds ironical right. Surely it isn't. There is a voice to the silence too as the title suggests "The inner voice". The voice entrapped inside us, the voice waiting to be heard, the voice that can and cannot be heard through ears alone but can be felt as well, the voice often dubbed as GOD's voice. Well we all might have heard that voice at one point or other in our lives, but we just don't realize it. Ever been in a tense or stressful situation ? Everyone will face or had faced one. Assuming you had you might have searched for an answer to the problem. Desperate for help you try to seek advise from your parents, friends, colleagues etc. But you don't always follow them blindly. Their advise just gives you a solution to think upon and triggers a thought process whether to accept the solution or not. That's when the inner voice comes in to play that guides you whether to accept the solution or search for a better one. Sometimes we don't even need any advice we come up with a solution ourselves. Our inner voice becomes the more powerful the more often we listen to it and we start seeing the world from a whole new perspective where we don't believe anything at once but seek our own opinion on the subject we listen to our inner voice. Our inner voice is refined through new experiences. It is not always completely right but to make it right we need to set models and ideals to follow while listening and even contradicting it. Our models and ideals should not remain the same forever, they need change, and change for good. As they change our inner voice strengthens. Listening to the Inner voice is embracing our sense of individuality where we build our own thought process and challenge the stereotypes.
Listening to the Inner voice requires focus which you can always improve by meditating but once you start listening to it you will automatically start going into a state of meditation as listening to it is itself a type of meditation.
